because art is more than decoration, it’s a movement.
My artistic practice is a deeply iterative and reflective process, often taking up to month to complete a single artwork. Beginning with photographs of portraits, everyday still lifes, and street life, I evolve these images into mixed media portraits using AI generative prompts. Through layers of experimentation, I merge photography, digital textures, and abstract elements until the final piece reflects my thoughts and intentions. To enhance the conceptual depth of my work, I incorporate poetry and spoken word, creating a dialogue between visuals and words that amplifies themes of identity, heritage, and empowerment. This multidisciplinary approach allows me to critically engage with AI’s biases and limitations, challenging misrepresentation and celebrating Black aesthetics and Intersectionality from the British female perspective.
